WWD Amuse Boho Blog Tour

Hello and welcome to the first day of the Amuse Boho Homecoming tour!! I am so excited to be apart of this tour. I am a big fan of Winter Wear Designs, as they are one of my leading favorites of women patterns out on the market. The fit is always fabulous for all sizes and the instructions are always very clear. So now more about my Amuse tunics, yes I made two! When I first seen the pattern I new that I had to try a smocked version. If you have not been to my blog before I will let you know that I am a sucker for anything that has a bit of smocking in it. This was really the first garment that I have taken the plunge to smock for myself as well. I am quite pleased with the end results as well.

To add the smocking was quite easy, no mods where made to the pattern itself to add the smocking to the gathering portion. This one one thing that I love about the Amuse pattern is that there is so much room for creativity!

I used Woodland Lawn fabric for this tunic as I love the drape and it pleats up very nicely. Perfect for hot summer days. I think I will be using this as a cover up for those beach days as well.

Another wonderful feature of this pattern is that it comes in three lengths. I choose the tunic length for both of mine but there is also a dress length and shirt length as well. Also the back has two options as well. I choose the straight back as I love the lines of this pattern. I love that it works so well for all seasons as well. I can see a fall dress or two in my future!

Next up is my knit version. I adore the way this one feel on but it looks dressy enough to wear out. I am not a t-shirt kind of gal so I am very thrilled with this one. I used knit fabric from a new shop online called The Fab Clique fabric Shoppe. This shop is wonderful for price, shipping, and costumer service! I will be purchasing more knit form this shop soon.

While I didn't do any mods for my knit version there a knit version hack including in the pattern. This one was so easy to sew up and quick as well. It took longer to cut than sew. Well I might have been i a hurry to sew as I couldn't wait to try this one on!
