A Pattern that's old & still yet new

A vintage outfit for my Sweet pea, made out of vintage fabric that I have been saving for a long time.  I had just enough fabric to make this outfit! Old but still very new. I paired the flower fabric with a pretty kona fabric from Hobby lobby.
The Puppet Show pattern is one of the first patterns from Oliver + S and has been out of print for some time. It is the HARDEST pattern to find, believe me when I say I have looked everywhere for this pattern, me and some 100s of other gals. This pattern is new now due to Oliver + S will be releasing a PDF print of this pattern soon. I was very lucky to be able to test for them.
I love every detail about this patttern! The little shorts have a cute cuff with the sides of the shorts are gathered. The pocket is one of my favorite styles! A great way to add a "pop" of color to the shorts.
I finished the top with fabric covered buttons. I love the way the buttons go down the whole back of this top. The sleeves also have buttons on the cuffs, too cute detail!
The hardest part of this pattern was trying to take a couple of good pictures of Sweet pea. My plan was to take pictures, her's was to, well, RUN!....
and run...
and run....

and run!! lol. This was the most tiring photos I have ever taken of her!

Happy Sewing!!
